We have reached the allocated amount for the MSME Digital Grant MADANI this year, and as a result, we have regrettably stopped accepting new applications.

If you have already submitted an application, our team will be reviewing them shortly, and you will be notified of the outcomes in due course.

1. What is the MSME Digital Grant Madani (GDPM)?

The MSME Digital Grant Madani is a matching grant offered to small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives to acquire digital services from Digitalisation Partners (DP) who are certified by MDEC. The grant aims to enhance the digital capabilities of MSMEs and cooperatives.

2. I've received a Digitalization Matching Grant in the past. Can I still apply?

No, MSMEs or cooperatives that have received a Digitalization Matching Grant in the past are not eligible for the MSME Digital Grant Madani.

3. What is the maximum amount I can apply for under this grant?

Grant covers 50% of the invoiced amount or up to RM 5,000.00 for each eligible MSME or cooperative to implement digitalization.

4. How much do I need to pay upfront?

MSMEs must pay the remaining invoice amount (after deducting the grant) to the Digitalization Partner via Funding Societies’ payment services within 14 days. Upon service delivery, grant disburses 50% of the total invoice amount or up to RM5,000.00 to the Digitalization Partner.

5. How long does the application process take?

The application process duration can take up to 3 working days. After you submit your application, it will be reviewed for approval. You will be notified via email about the status of your application.

6. What documents are needed to apply for the grant?

You will need to complete the online application form, sales invoice/quotation issued by DP, NRIC copy of the Owner/Director/Partner, business registration license/SSM business profile, and your latest audited account statement or latest two month bank statements.

7. What happens after I submit my application?

After you submit your application, it will be reviewed for approval. You will be notified via email about the status of your application.

8. What happens if my application is approved?

If your application is approved, you will be notified via email. You are then required to pay the remaining invoice amount (after deducting the subsidy) within 14 days. Upon successful payment, your Digitalization Partner will commence delivering the service.

9. How do I make the payment?

You will receive an email with a unique payment link. You are required to make the payment via the payment link.

10. What happens if I fail to make the payment within the specified period?

If you fail to make the payment within the specified period, your grant approval will be automatically cancelled and you would have to reapply for the grant.

11. What are the consequences if the information I provided is found to be false?

If the information provided is found to be false, FS reserves the right to terminate, recall the grant, or impose other conditions.

12. What happens after my Digitalization Partner delivers the service?

Once your DP delivers the service, they will submit a claim to Funding Societies. After the claim is approved, Funding Societies will send out a disbursement instruction to BSN to disburse to DP directly.

13. How will I be informed about the progress of my application status?

You will be notified via email about the progress of your application status.

14. Can I apply for more than one type of service under this initiative?

Yes, you can apply for up to three types of digital services under the MSME Digital Grant Madani.

15. Why was my application rejected?

We're sorry to hear that your application wasn't successful this time around. The reason could be one of the following:

  • Insufficient Documents: No worries, just gather the required papers and feel free to reapply!

  • Eligibility Criteria Not Met: For example, if your business license is about to expire, that could be the hiccup.

  • You're a Past Grant Recipient: If you're confident this isn't the case, please reach out to BSN for a deeper look.

For more specific information, please check your rejection email, which will also include guidelines on how to reapply if you're eligible.

16. Who are the Digitalization Partners?
